We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager who will be responsible for, managing the total manufacturing life cycle for this facility.
As the Manufacturing Manager you will be planning, procuring and organising all labour, materials and activities related to manufacturing a range of niche electronic and electrical products and bespoke designed equipment to meet client’ requirements. This will include supervising the build and testing of the systems in compliance the company’s quality management system (we are accredited to ISO9001:2000).
You will be developing and implementing a programme of continuous improvement that recognises best practice and innovative approaches to implement lean manufacturing philosophy and to achieve tangible productivity and cost improvements. You will also adopt the role of Quality Manager to oversee the company’s Quality Management System.
In addition, you will need to ensure compliance with legislation in all areas of responsibility with respect to Health & Safety and to be accountable for the safe operation and effective maintenance of all plant and equipment in the area.
You must have excellent hands on management skills and a proven track record in cost control and scheduling in order to meet the requirements of this deadline driven industry.
You will work positively and effectively with other departments and co-ordinate tasks from start to completion.
The successful candidate will have experience of Manufacturing Management, ideally in a technical industry and be qualified to Degree/HND level in an appropriate engineering subject (Preferably Electrical).

Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer will work within the electrical engineering team, carrying out a variety of tasks including but not limited to:-
• Liaise with electrical engineers, the electrical design manager and project managers to generate overall system schematic diagrams, riser drawings, cabinet and cable specifications. • Assisting the electrical design manager in specifying system components.
• Site attendance when required to assist with commissioning and learn how Stage Technologies control systems are implemented. • Co-ordinate with the operations manager and electrical engineers to inspect and test electrical cabinets prior to shipping. • Assisting electrical engineers with project engineering as required, including production of simple electrical and or mechanical drawings. • Following the company’s ISO procedures in all aspects of work.
Either an electrical engineering degree or an HNC required, or equivalent, in a related field. Strong communication and IT skills are also required. Experience of control system installation, commissioning and a knowledge of PLC programming, ideally Siemens Step 7, would be a significant advantage. Experience of electrical circuit design packages would also be beneficial. An understanding of technical theatre, possibly including stage automation or experience of the construction industry would be an advantage, but not essential.
The position would normally be based in our London offices, but may require some travelling and time to be spent on site. Whilst the majority of our projects are administered in the English language some fluency in a European language would be beneficial.

Wiremen
We are looking for wiremen to work on sites around the UK and overseas carrying out installation and termination of electrical cables to a high standard for our stage automation installations. Work includes power, control and data cabling.
