'In today’s technological world, should we not be thinking about installing power flying in our theatres? With counterweight systems there are health and safety aspects to be considered. Those working in the flys are vulnerable to injuries resulting from twisting whilst hauling on ropes, from continual bending, reaching awkwardly during loading flying cradles, or strain from lifting weights...'
