Reporting to the head of automation. the automation elements technician will be responsible for the ongoing functionality of the automation elements and systems in regard to their continued performance requirements. Maintain and operate automated show elements and systems in a safe and consistent manner for the City of Dreams show. Participate as automation console operator and assist with strategies for a safe working environment at all times.
Job description:
Participate in the ordering and procuring of department supplies
Participate in long term staffing requirements and rotating schedules for all work calls and maintenance.
Participate in the ongoing development of an inspection schedule for the installations and participate with such inspections regularly.
On a daily, or as needed basis, maintain and service the automated systems and Property Elements within the theatre.
Maintain a safe working environment by conforming to all established safety policies and procedures; participate in all required safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training;
Work with the teams in developing and implementing safety strategies.
Maintain a flexible schedule for work calls, special events, rehearsals, training, maintenance and evening show performances.
Adhere to all safety regulations and follow safety procedures.
Have ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, control and mechanical problems to enable a smooth and continued show.
Participate in the changes and ongoing development of the show.
Perform other tasks and projects assigned by the head of automation.
In general the automaton maintenance technician is responsible for the maintenance and operational readiness of the automated elements and systems within the venue.
The elements technician may on occasion work with and manage external contractors who support the maintenance of the systems as arranged.
