Stage Technologies has designed the Saxis (single axis controller)
to provide a cost-effective, high-specification automation solution
for productions which require only a few pieces of scenery to move.
Each Saxis will control a single axis, whether this be a winch, a
revolve or a stand-alone motor, providing simple programmable control
on a dedicated screen.
All of the advantages of automating scenery are now available without
the need for a dedicated automation console. Precision control, previously
only within reach of a large budget production, can now be achieved
by hiring our simple and affordable system.

The Saxis can be plugged directly into a three-phase mains power supply
and incorporates all the advantages of servo-motor control including
precise and near silent operation. The hand-held controller gives the operator
complete control, with on-screen diagnostics, position readout, programmable
speed and acceleration and speed override during cue run.
When used in revolve mode it is possible to select the target in degrees
and the number of turns clockwise or anti-clockwise to reach position.
The Saxis control desk has been used in a huge number of applications. It is ideal when only a small amount of automation is required or for television and film shoots, such as flying cameras for Harry Potter and moving set on the Ant&Dec Show. It has also been a huge hit with touring concerts such as the Britney Spears World Tour.
