Maxis SI is our third generation position control system. Based upon standard components, this is a fully featured architecture which is scalable from a few to literally hundreds of motors, and will control motors of any size or power. All our consoles and control solutions are compatible with Maxis SI and the previous generation of control system, Maxis ID.
The totally integrated nature of the system allows the engineer to view the complete system status, from motor drive current/voltage, through I/O to processors, and networks, all from a single interface running on a PC. This can be viewed either locally or remotely over a secure Internet connection and allows for much faster diagnostics, without the need for multiple pieces of software and hardware.
Systems that are based on industry standard components from large manufacturers generally have a longer lifetime than custom solutions. Therefore, an investment in Maxis SI provides outstanding performance as well as lowering the total cost of ownership in the long term.
