Game shows galore!

Stage Technologies rentals department is as busy as ever with game shows galore at the start of 2010. 

The UK’s popular hosts Ant and Dec are back with their brand new series ‘Push The Button’ – a live TV show that pits two families of five against each other, going head to head for the chance to win a large cash prize. Stage Technologies provided a BigTow winch and single-axis control for a LED door reveal, through which the contestants and Ant and Dec enter the stage. National charity TV show ‘Let’s Dance for Sport Relief’ is back on UK screens with a line up of celebrities that includes sports personalities and top footballers competing to see who has the slickest moves on the dance floor. This live show also uses a similar Stage Technologies winch-and-control system for a door slider. 

ITV has a brand new game show currently in production that was originally piloted in the US. ‘The Whole 19 Yards’ combines physical challenges with quick-fire quizzes, meaning that contestants have to have both brains and brawn to win. Without giving the game away, Stage Technologies provided control for four game stages on four separate stage trucks that can all be moved individually. Look out for this one it promises to be great fun!
