Santa's Rentals 2009
The end of 2009 is fast approaching and, predictably, the Christmas season is a busy time for performances, with equipment and services from our rentals department in heavy demand. We’ve picked just three of these end-of-year shows to give a sample of the seasonal projects our rental team in the UK have in the pipeline.
Following its sell-out premiere in 2006, the Theatre Royal Plymouth’s White Christmas has returned by popular vote, with a star cast and a musical score of seasonal greats. Stage Technologies has been invited back again to help bring the stage to life with six Minitow and six BigTow winches, moving six floor tracks and an iris slider for scene reveals.
Peter Pan is lifting Christmas spirits at Curve in Leicester with an eight-winch rental system and a performance packed with performer flying that transports audiences to Neverland and back again! And lastly, thanks to a Revolution! drive and a Saxis control unit the cast of a production of Cinderella for children at the Unicorn in London will be enchanting audiences throughout the season.
