Stage Technologies makes Tech Track 100

Sponsored by Microsoft, the ninth annual Tech Track 100 league table was published in The Sunday Times yesterday and Stage Technologies came in at a respectable number 52.

Tech Track 100 ranks Britain's 100 fastest-growing private technology companies and is based on sales growth over the latest three years. This year’s listing includes household names such as online DVD rental company LOVEFILM.com, price comparison website Cheapflights, restaurant reservation website Toptable.com and fundraising website JustGiving.

Stage Technologies continues to flourish due to organic growth, a solid reputation, continued innovation in stage engineering and a worldwide footprint in live performance automation. The entertainment industry has weathered the glum economic climate well so far, with London’s West End, outdoor festivals and events such as the Edinburgh Festival reporting excellent attendance and sales figures this year.

Commercial Director Nikki Scott said, “Whilst we are delighted to have received this acknowledgement from a national newspaper for the way our business has grown, our primary focus continues to be delivering products and services which improve the entertainment experience in some way.  However, receiving recognition from experts outside of our industry gives our clients the reassurance that they are dealing with a firmly established and successful company that is here to stay.  We believe that our business is about supplying quality products now, which can be serviced and supported in a sustainable way for decades to come. Our commercial strength is at the heart of delivering this pledge.”

The award dinner will be held in November in London.
