Debussy’s fatal love story tours to Rome

First produced in Belgium at La Monnaie last year, Pierre Audi’s unconventional interpretation of Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande used a Stage Technologies Revolution! Drive to control a stage revolve using a compact and cost-effective timing belt drive system.

The production was so successful that the opera opened in Rome at Teatro dell'Opera di Roma on October 2nd, still using Revolution! technology. There is now the possibility of further runs in Europe in 2010, so opera fans watch this space!
